Group Coaching

Get ready to learn, grow, and explore in a group environment. Group coaching is interactive and facilitated rather than led, and brings coaching or mentoring conversations into a small group context.

Group Coaching Leads to Excellent Results

Group coaching helps all participants benefit from peer learning and the collective wisdom of the group. I’ll teach you all of my favorite tips, tools, and exercises and let you brainstorm and roleplay with the other participants. You’ll learn, grow, and help one another have aha moments, and best of all you’ll begin to recognize that you’re not alone with your challenges.

Great group coaching programs become like a shared container where you, other participants, and me, as your facilitator begin to see exponential progress and momentum in your ability to get reacquainted with you, the wonderful and caring parent.

You will:

  • Experience the enrichment of learning with others
  • Engage in a true problem solving, goal setting and action-taking process
  • Connect with others who are walking the same path and who GET what you’re going through
  • Learn, share and brainstorm tips, techniques and tricks together
  • Return home after each session renewed with the ability to be in the moment and aware

I recently had the opportunity to participate, with a group of younger mothers, in a virtual  Wholehearted Parenting conversation hosted by Heather Scott. I initially questioned the relevance for a Grandmother but was thrilled to have the space to explore strategies and ideas that could be applied to parenting and grandparenting. What I most appreciated was the space Heather gave us all to think, reflect, share, and learn from each other in a safe environment. Bravo Heather; keep up the great work. Our world needs your expertise.

While participating in one of Heather’s introductory sessions, I learned practical tools which helped me feel engaged, interested and to deeply reflect as a parent of my own young adult children while also pondering fruitfully about my new, young blended family.  I walked away feeling motivated and refocused on my ongoing personal growth and vision as a supportive and helpful adult in young people’s lives. The abilities to look inward, reflect and implement strategies which foster positive regard within ourselves, with our children and with others, are vital in promoting and sustaining positive mental health and wellbeing.  Heather is a caring and empathic facilitator, adept at recognizing and drawing out our sense of compassion and our own strengths, so that we may bring about the best in ourselves, our children, and our world.  It is encouraging to see such a wonderful opportunity and support for parents, especially important as we continue to steer through these trying times together.
